Alon Maor
Active Chairman of the Board

Alon is an industry veteran with over 23 years of experience in the Aesthetic and Medical device field.  Alon held executive positions at Lumenis in Japan, Asia and the United States and was the co-founder and CEO of Aestera, an aesthetic medical device company that was later sold to Solta. I am happy that Alon accepted my offer to join our board and see it as a sign of confidence in the future of Ultrashape. Alon’s main focus will be in formulating and executing our long term strategy. As an active member of the board we will also benefit from Alon’s experience to address some of our key day-to-day challenges.

Mr. Cohen is a general partner of Israel Seed Partners, a leading Israeli venture capital firm which he co-founded in 1994 and where he leads the life sciences practice. Since founding Israel Seed, Mr. Cohen has led investments in and served on the boards of Compugen, DenX, Topspin Medical, Mobile Access Networks and Cyota Inc. Previously, Mr. Cohen was VP of Sales and Marketing at Biodar, a specialty chemicals and drug delivery company now a division of Makhteshim-Agan, and before that was part of the bioscience advisory group at NM Rothschild and Sons in London and Princeton. Mr. Cohen holds an MA with first class honors from Oxford University.

Michael Berman

Mr. Berman is a medical device entrepreneur working with a select group of high potential development and early commercial stage companies. From 1995-2000 Mr. Berman was President of Boston Scientific/Scimed where he expanded the company's leadership in the interventional cardiology market. Under his leadership, the company increased worldwide sales from $300 million to $1.5 billion, fully integrated four acquired interventional cardiology businesses, invested more than $250 million in research and technology, and introduced more than 40 new products. As President of Scimed, Mr. Berman provided leadership and management for more than 4000 employees in four locations.

Daniel Chinn

Daniel joined Israel Seed Partners at the beginning of 2001.From 1988 to 2000, Daniel worked in Herzog, Fox & Neeman, one of Israel's largest and most prestigious international commercial law firms, becoming a partner in January 1996. Daniel has worked extensively on High Tech mergers and acquisitions, including many of the largest acquisitions of Israeli companies by multinationals such as Nortel Networks, Lucent and Marconi.Daniel currently serves on the Board of Directors of OnePath Networks and Multi Drink Systems (MDS).Daniel received a BA (Jurisprudence) from University College, Oxford University and is a member of the Israel Bar Association.

Assaf Eyal

 Mr. Eyal joined UltraShape in 2008. He has 20 years of expertise in sales, marketing, research & development, and customer service. Additionally, having lived many years in the U.S., Europe and the Far East, he has firsthand experience in international markets and cultures. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Eyal served as Executive Vice President at NUR Macroprinters, a manufacturer of super wide format digital printers and inks that was successfully sold to HP. Prior to NUR, Assaf served in various executive positions at Orbotech Ltd ( NASDAQ:ORBK) as Co-President of the Display Division and Corporate VP, a division that grew under his leadership to revenues of $150 million. He holds a B.Sc in Engineering and M.Sc in Management.

Amiram Goldman
External Director

Mr. Goldman serves as VP Finance at Lenox Investment Ltd. Manager of finance and Director at Green Oil Energy Ltd. GM and Director at Pan Technologies Ltd. He is also an External Director at Applisonix Ltd. and at Star Night Technologies Ltd.He holds a BA in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University and is a certified public accountant in Israel.

Sigal Grinboim
External Director

Ms. Grinboim has served as an External Director and member of the audit committee for Sahar Investments Ltd. since 2007. Previously, she served as Chief Financial Officer for HOMI Ltd. and member of the investment committee for Phoenix Investments Ltd. Ms. Grinboim serves as External Director for Willy Food Investments Ltd., Biomedix Incubator Ltd. and Tamir Fishman Real Estate Fund Ltd. She holds Bachelor of Science from Tel Aviv University and Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with concentration in Finance from the College of Management, Israel. She is a certified public accountant in Israel.
